GFS Sends A Warning... Winter Ain't Over
THIS IS BASICALLY SENDING A WARNING THAT THE COLD WILL NOT BE EXCLUSIVE TO THE WESTERN UNITED STATES BY THE MIDDLE OF THE MONTH. I THOUGHT IT WAS ODD THAT THE GFS WAS CREATING A SNOW STORM OVER SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA. IT MADE MORE SENSE TO SEND "SOME" COLD INTO THE WEST WITH ENERGY DRIVING ANOTHER COLD SHOT DOWN THE PLAINS AND I THINK THAT HAPPENS EVENTUALLY. IT'S BACKED UP NOW BY THE DAY 10 GFS ABOVE.
THE LAST HALF OF JANUARY WILL BE A MUCH DIFFERENT STORY THAN THE PAST FEW WEEKS.
