Record High Territory???
At Noon Sunday, we are two degrees warmer compared to the same time Saturday. This means we are on pace to hit a high of 104. If this holds up, we would tie a record high for the day set back in 1980. For those of us who remember 1980, I was only 6 years old and remember, it was an ugly summer with 47 days of 100+ temperatures.
Down the road, there are some signs of small changes. If it occurs, it's not for another 8-11 days away.
Pay close attention to the tropics. It is about to become active as one of the models has been very consistant with something forming in the Atlantic this week. Nothing there yet, but it's that time of year.
