Sizzlin' Summer Stats.
There is little doubt August 2007 will go into the record books in a few different categories. Right now, it's the fourth hottest August on record when considering ONLY the daily high temperature. It is the hottest ever when considering the average high and low temperature. It's tied for the driest ever on record. Just before the end of this month, there will be rain chances and slightly cooler temperatures. This will make the historical impact of the month less, but it will still be remembered as a sizzler. I will post all the historical numbers and years in the days to come. I've been quite busy with the calculator.
