So not fair.
If the long range is (usually) wrong, that means we should get snow on Xmas!
HA!
I demand it! Just no 2000-esque ice-storms! Or Tornadoes.
I'm just saying.
Very very light precipitation coming down outside city hall in Little Rock.
Well there goes my White Christmas hopes...Lets go White New Years !!!
Gotta love accuweather. Their iPhone app is showing snow this Friday night of "a coating to an inch." Even though the iPhone is more technologically advanced than the droid, it does not mean that the accuweather app is. I've seen some droid lovers on here...just poking fun. Snow you're sayin' there's a chance???
According to one model Snowbird Bob won't have to drive anywhere New Year's Eve. Looks like a snowstorm for northern half of Louisiana.
Which model Jimmy?
Drake-
It was the GFS 12z and I haven't checked it again since 4:30pm.
I sure hope this northwest flow changes soon we will never get any snow with the current pattern. But as soon as it changes we will be in the 60s. Whats the best pattern for us to get snow. Or at least enhance our chances ?
Its only been ten months since little rock had 7 inches of snow in one day. Im spoiled het Todd please ask mother nature to help us out again soon with another dumping of the fluffy white stuff. If not december how bout january maybe this next time we can get 10 inches
So I guess we're done speculating on snow for now? Even though NWS and The WEather Channel both have it in their forecast for tomorrow night? Is this just not our year? What's going on with you guys? NO one is talking and it makes me sad :( I miss you fellas. Anyone care to comment?
Hello Everyone, Hope you enjoyed my snow pics, That was a veryyyyy! COLD Trip! I have some personal predictions for the next 7-14 days out.I think my predictions for Dec. 3-18 for some very cold weather come true,But as far as the winter weather, not so much other than a few light events.Well, I have been doing more research & here are my thoughts,This is for the Dec.28-Jan.10 time-frame. Well. I see some more very cold periods sometime in between those dates, most likley even colder than these past cold periods this month. As for as moisture, That is about to change, We are about to start to get the gulf involved with some winter weather, You may say going out on a limb" That's ok. I see Arkansas's first real winter storm sometime in between those dates. I know, I know, most of the models are not showing alot of hope, but I dont think the models do well, with the pattern changing so much. I am sure everyone has noticed that it seems everything is happening, North & East, Well get ready for some wild weather, I see more of this weather shifting into the center & southern part of the country, Yeah, I know LA-NINA bla, bla, bla, WE SHALL SEE.....
im with you... bring on snow. why is it that todd always ends up saying " the system dies out...but it gets cold though."
hey thanks for the comments snowbirdbob when i see those comments from u it makes me excited to know what could be down the road. i like your predictions because i know u know what your doing an u understand the models. well i look forward to your comments and everyone else on here.
The farmers almanac is forecasting another big ice storm for the winter. Its just something for everybody to be aware of. As muych as i want asnowstorm. Im leaning towards a couple ice storms. Does it mean its gonna happen? No its just something to be aware of.
I would like a 10" + snow storm but no ice storms please...If you lived in Nashville, AR in 2000 you sure would not want a Ice Storm...Was without power for 2 weeks and trees were snapped in half!
We may have a snow storm for New Years Eve...The forecast shows a shot for rain on Friday but no snow but things can change
