January Thaw Won't Last Long
The newest model guidance this Thursday afternoon takes Little Rock to 60 degrees or higher Saturday through Tuesday. Colder air will start to move back into the state Wednesday. At this time, it won't be a huge blast, but it will signify the end of the "January Thaw".
The models have been very consistent in bringing a storm system into the state by the end of next week. Specifics at this point are impossible to forecast, but it's something to watch. I'll remind you, the little flurry action we had this morning was forecast by the models one week ago to be a much bigger deal and we know how that turned out. Anyway, this goes over the newest version of the European model
