Warmest Halloween in 50 Years, Then....

Back to blogging!!

This will likely end up the warmest Halloween in 53 years when it reached 85 in 1963.  The daily record high is 86 set in 1961 and that will obviously be challenged.

I can't believe some of the Tweets I'm receiving calling for NO winter!?  IT'S ONLY OCTOBER!  I know many of you like me are cold weather fans so I wanted to give you some good news.  Before I do that, remember, I'M NOT SAYING THIS WILL HAPPEN, BUT HERE WE GO....

The daily record high on October 30th, October 31st, November 1st, and November 2nd were ALL established in 1961.  Look at the rest of November 1961!!!  Yes, that "T" in the snowfall column is a "trace".  Never give up!

The winter of 61/62 I remember for a big snow in January and a below zero low. Every one of the Hot Halloween's mentioned followed with heavy snow or extreme cold that winter. We'll see what happens.
