Wicked Weather

Yesterday I mentioned the possibility of some severe weather. While it was not widespread, there were several reports of hail. You can see some of that on the ground in this picture. At my house the winds gusted to about 50-55 mph with dime size hail. It was trash day and they had all been emptied. The wind picked them up and threw them around. The strong front has passed well south with freezing temperatures likely tonight for much of the state.

We're watching the middle of next week for more wet weather chances. Next Wednesday is the busiest travel day of the year so we're watching it closely.
