Summer Contest 2012

It's finally here.  The summer contest of 2012 and we have some fantastic prizes to give away including a professional home weather station.  It was a prize in the winter contest, but nobody won it.  All entries this year MUST be in by 9 PM Tuesday, May 29th.

The summer contest will officially start June 1st and go through August 31st (meteorological summer).  Once again, we will play using the "Price Is Right" rules.  You must be the closest WITHOUT going over.

We will have 2 contests this year.  Please email all entries to weather@katv.com.  
If directions are not followed, I will have to disqualify you from that particular contest so please read carefully!

Contest #1...

Guess the TOTAL combined number of 100 degree plus days for Ft. Smith, Pine Bluff, Little Rock, and Jonesboro from June 1st to August 31st.

You must also send in a tiebreaker for contest #1.  Guess the total amount of rain at the Little Rock airport for the same time period to the nearest hundredth of an inch. (for example: 15.12'' )

Contest #2...

Guess the average seasonal temperature for the summer of 2012 for Little Rock to the nearest hundredth of a degree starting June 1st to August 31st.  For example: 82.39 degrees.
