We are coming out of this drought, especially with the next 2 rounds of rain. You can't just come out of a drought overnight, but this week will go a long way to eliminating many immediate concerns including the wildfire danger.
Also on the table is very cold air and moisture leading into Christmas. It's still very much in the long range and we still can't get too specific at this time. However, I just don't see how we escape the upcoming pattern without dealing with some sort of wintry weather. The magnitude of that is not known. I also need to throw out there the possibility of cold and dry, but I think that's less likely. Time will tell.
Enjoy the video loaded with information for the next week. I'm calling this the "NO HYPE ZONE."
