Friday Update...

Here's a quick late morning update on the "VERY RARE" front now moving into NE Arkansas. I expect scattered showers and storms to begin to develop within the next few hours. The latest model guidance suggests the front will pass quickly and most of the weekend looks dry. I would not be surprised to see dewpoints in the upper 50s to lower 60s Saturday night into Sunday. Once again, check out the "Icky" factor post from a few days ago and you will see how comfortable the air COULD become. Right now (10 AM), St. Louis , MO is 69 degrees with a dewpoint of 54. THAT'S AUTUMN!!!!!

Enjoy this nice air mass while it's around. I expect the heat and humidity to come back in full force by the middle of next week.
