Missoula, Montana Hail 1998
Yesterday I posted some thoughts on the western Montana tornado this week so I dug this home video out of my collection. This video was taken by a viewer on the west side of Missoula. I edited the audio out since it's loud and muffled. The hail reached baseball and some softball size. Viewers lined up at the backdoor to the station with coolers full of hail to show me. It was an amazing event, but not as amazing as the twister that struck Polson, MT this week.
