It's noon on Thursday and the temperature is 96 degrees. Yesterday at this time, it was 93. The high temperature yesterday was 99. So at this pace, we are on track to see 100-102 degrees this afternoon.
Still no real signs of a break in the heat. One model run did have a front in about 8-10 days that would drop highs maybe 5-10 degrees. Don't get too excited. One model run doesn't always mean a change, but we hope!
