Tuesday's quick burst of snow was nice to see. Only lasting about 20 minutes, it did remind us it is winter afterall. Nothing stuck of course as air temperatures were in the upper 30's and lower 40's. Ground temps. are even warmer than that.
I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see some quick accumulations of snow over extreme northwest and north central Arkansas Sunday afternoon/evening (January 22nd). There could be minor accumulations on grassy surfaces. The rest of us will have a much needed, cold rain Sunday.
