Please excuse the cold front on the chart above. I did it by hand on photoshop. Anyway, it's the european model valid next Thursday morning. It shows a significant surface high pressure coming out of Canada with the leading edge (cold front) moving into the state. Again, this is the european model. The American GFS model is indicating temperatures in the mid and upper 80s for highs next Thursday and Friday. Since there is agreement between these two models, it does give the pattern change credibility. Judging by the response of the poll on this blog, you all want fall to get here quickly. I want everyone to know that this pattern change is NOT set in stone, but is looking better and better everyday new data comes in. I will of course keep you updated and our team of meteorologists on Channel 7 will as well. In the meantime, stay cool!
