Active October Weather

Willy Nowell sent this picture in from Wye Mtn. after the rain cleared out Monday evening. We had 1.57'' of rainfall Monday with more expected in the days to come. This can easily be a quiet time of year, but we have an active weather pattern on our hands. Wednesday into Thursday morning will have some more wet weather with another system expected Sunday night into Monday. As of this Tuesday morning, the system for the beginning of next week looks very, very interesting. We could have a line of strong to severe storms sweep through the state followed by cool and windy weather. We'll see.
