Yocum Elementary School Visit
This had to be the best school visit of my career. Jeremy Lashbrook, Chopper 7 pilot, and I took off from the North Little Rock airport Wednesday morning at 7 AM and arrived in El Dorado around 8 AM. When we arrived, we saw hundreds of kids on the ground awaiting our arrival along with KATV photographer Marcus McDonald. We spent three hours on the ground talking to 700 students. They are all graduates of the Todd Yakoubian School Of Weather. I talked to all the kids about severe weather safety and Jeremy briefed them on flying Chopper 7. Special thanks to Stacy Gulick and principal Kelly Walters for setting up the visit.
