Video Blog Discussion... ABC World News & South Arkansas Storms

After this video blog, I'm dropping the subject.  I had a few more points I wanted to make about the reporting on ABC World News.

Also in the video, I talk about the slight risk for severe storms later Wednesday afternoon across southern Arkansas.

Those yankees tryin to make us look bad here in ark an alabama. Todd thanks for standing up for us. We get tornadoes any time of the year in this part of the country. Someone up north didnt do their research.

Todd, you hit the nail RIGHT ON THE HEAD. As a police officer, any time we get a hint of bad weather in our area the police and fire departments head out to spot what we can when we can. The city just bought us a computer program that will enable us to watch the storms in very high detail even down to street by street to make sure that we keep our citizens as safe as we possibly can. I agree 100% - before they talk about what they "know" they really do need to talk to the folks who live it EVERY YEAR here. By the way, I remember VERY WELL that Christmas Eve in 1982, both my parents were in the hospital for major surgeries and my sister and I were staying with my grandparents. That was one of the scariest nights as a kid that I can remember. Take care and keep up the good work!!!
