Arkansas Slushie. Winter Weather Likely

All types of precipitation will be possible across the state Sunday evening into Monday morning.  What you receive will depend on the temperature profile from the surface up.  Right now, we're expecting snow north, sleet central, and freezing rain south.  THAT'S AN ARKANSAS SLUSHIE!!!  This video goes into great detail on how this may unfold.

Thanks for breaking it down for us Todd! Hoping for nothing but as we all know in AR it can go either way! Thanks for pointing out that these events can also bring bad too. As a Little Rock EMS worker, I think I can safely speak for all of us in healthcare and public safety that we hope everyone stays home and off the roads. Stay safe AR!

Frontogenetic forcing possible? Remember February 8-9 2011? That was a real meteorological treat!
