Tropical Trouble

This is the time of year when tropical activity ramps up and can impact our weather.  First of all, the LAST thing I want to do is cause any panic.  When you're dealing with any storm in the long range, you must know much can change to influence the track and intensity.  With that said, there is a very good chance a storm develops and moves into the Gulf of Mexico next week.  Whenever you get one in the Gulf, you gotta pay attention to it.  If the track is east of Arkansas, it usually has little if any impact.  If the track is near or west of Arkansas, then we must deal with tropical remnants which are known for heavy rainfall (flooding) and even tornadoes.  IF this storm affects us, it will not be until the middle to end of next week.

This video goes over all the newest data as of Wednesday morning.
