Weekend Storm System + Christmas Update

Got a lot to talk about this morning!  The forecast is complicated, but the details are coming more into focus.  Also, I discuss the problems with the modeling lately and why I'm hesitant about forecasts next week.

A couple of interesting side notes...

The National Weather Service will no longer issue "Freezing Rain Advisories".  It will fall under the header of "winter weather advisory".  The wording of the advisory will better explain the situation, if and when those are ever issued this winter.

Also, the National Weather Service office in North Little Rock is considering combining a "wind advisory" and "lake wind advisory" into just one product, "wind advisory."  I strongly support this idea.  They should make a final decision later next month with more specifics later.
