More Rain and Fall Air

Rainfall will be coming back over the next few days as a new front moves into the state. Models are hinting at significantly cooler air by the beginning to middle of next week. Could be very refreshing. The following is the information from the National Weather Service pertaining to Wednesday's record rainfall...
AT LITTLE ROCK ADAMS FIELD...2.47 INCHES OF RAIN FELL ON WEDNESDAY.
THIS BREAKS THE ORIGINAL DAILY RAINFALL RECORD OF 1.63 INCHES WHICH
WAS SET IN 1973.

RECORDS FOR LITTLE ROCK ADAMS FIELD BEGAN ON JULY 1ST 1879.

AT NORTH LITTLE ROCK...2.98 INCHES OF RAIN FELL ON WEDNESDAY. THIS
BREAKS THE ORIGINAL DAILY RAINFALL RECORD OF 0.14 INCHES...WHICH WAS
SET IN 1994.
