BIG Fun In The Big Apple

Thought I would post a few pictures from my trip to New York early this week. Since we were going to be in the "Big Apple", we went to see "Good Morning America" on Tuesday morning. In the first picture, you will recognize everyone except the second person from the right. That's my wife, Andria.

The special guest that morning was Will Smith. When he made his grand entrance, the studio audience went crazy. When he came over to our side of the studio, he spotted Andria and gave her a big hug which was captured on national television. You may know about Good Morning America's coat drive. When Will Smith ran into the studio, he took off his coat and threw it into the pile. Later, Robin Roberts told us that his publicist bought him a coat to put in there, but he wanted to throw in his OWN coat and did! That goes along with everything you here about Will Smith and how nice he is!

The whole purpose of our trip up there was to see the Broadway play "Wicked." It's the untold story of the Wizard of Oz. After seeing the play, I will never be able to watch the Wizard of Oz in the same way. It was incredible and I highly recommend it if you're ever in New York. It turns out that the Wicked Witch of the West is actually a good person. That's all I'll say!
